‘From Light to Dark’ is a fine print installation crafted by Imprimerie du Marais and organised with Made Thought, at their store in London. It was a tribute to the last moon before the winter solstice, and to the five years of creative collaboration with Made Thought. This exhibition was focused on fine printing, craftsmanship, exploration of different printing tools, as well as the many resources we can use in the World of Print. It was an installation combining materiality, finishing and revelations in craftsmanship. We believe that we are the makers, we are the “petites mains” behind every foiled line, paper folded or stitch made, and that craftsmanship allows us to create very delicate and harmonious projects, such as these posters. This exhibition gave a glimpse of all the different processes that go through each production, in our ateliers in Paris.
Paper supplied by G.F Smith, dies made by Lasercomb.
