Menus · HIDE London Exceptional print as an extension of immersive dining experience

"HIDE is an uncompromising personal luxury project from the founder of Hedonism Wine. Driven by meticulous standards of luxury excellence, this unique restaurant delivers a holistic experience previously unseen in London. Every touchpoint is completely bespoke, from the leather stamping and menu embossing to the narrative staged in each of the underground private dining rooms. The graphic elements were approached with great subtlety and crafted by the teams at Imprimerie du Marais from the finest materials, each offering a decidedly modern vision of luxury." — Tess Wicksteed, Strategy Partner at Here Design

For Here Design, the cross-disciplinary agency behind HIDE’s visual identity, the goal was to place the architectural concept of natural growth directly into the guest's hands, anchoring the dining experience of this exceptional venue overlooking Green Park in the heart of London. Born from a partnership between Michelin-starred chef Ollie Dabbous and Hedonism Wines, this three-levelsculinary utopia pairs modern European cuisine with the world’s most extensive wine list.

Working closely with interior design studio These White Walls and architecture firm Lustedgreen, Here Design's creative teams commissioned our London office and Parisian workshops to technically develop and produce bespoke collateral tied together by Bookman typography. Designed as tactile extensions of the interior architecture, these materials are printed exclusively on sustainable, textured, uncoated fine papers.

The vibrant heart of the restaurant, on the ground floor, welcomes guests from breakfast through afternoon tea in a warm, inviting atmosphere. The menu cover was chosen to evoke the primordial earth, featuring a multi-level blind emboss with concentric ripples that sculpt the paper into a striking texture reminiscent of nearby tree bark. A shimmering gold hot foil stamping elevates the design, much like sap filling natural crevices.

On the mezzanine, the Michelin-starred restaurant Above serves its tasting menus in a bright, airy setting. To reflect this luminous quality, the interior pages use a natural white cotton paper, printed in four-color litho after our DTP workshop carefully calibrated the color profiles. The cover serves as a true manifesto of eco-design, offering a highly tactile bouquet of wildflowers rendered through a subtle, multi-level blind emboss. Meticulously crafted by our letterpress artisans from a 3D scan of an in-situ mural by artist Rachel Dein, the embossing creates a highly refined interplay of light and shadow.

"Alongside our partners, Here Design, we worked with Rachel to bring her art to life. Often when we create embossings the starting point is 2D. In this case seeing Rachel's beautiful artwork really helped in imagining the end result. Her work is process driven and she was keen to be involved alongside the design team at Here." — Daniel O'Kane, Commercial Director UK-US at Imprimerie du Marais

Nestled in the basement, the Below spirits bar is anchored in the venue's foundations. This mysterious atmosphere extends into the private dining rooms (The Broken Room, The Shadow Room, and The Reading Room), designed for intimate, hedonistic escapes. In these secluded alcoves, the art of detail is expressed through blind embossing on felt-textured cotton papers and hot-foil stamping on fine leather. Select materials even feature deliberately torn edges, injecting a sense of raw modernity into the sophisticated identity.

Print is the ultimate ambassador of your brand's perceived value. If you want to orchestrate a unique dialogue between your restaurant’s interior design and your presentation materials to create powerful drivers of immersion, enhance the tableside guest experience, and extend it long after the meal ends, our teams are here to accompany you.
