Bhutan Rebranding Collaterals · MMBP Associates When the land of the Thunder Dragon moults
September 2022 was the opportunity for our teams to metaphorically travel to the Kingdom of Bhutan, hand in hand with the agency MMBP & Associates. To mark the reopening of its borders on 23 September after two years of severe health restrictions, the "Land of the Thunder Dragon" struck a major blow by investing in the development of a new national and international brand image: BHUTAN - Believe. This vision of the future is the country's message to its people and to the world. It crystallises Bhutan's natural and cultural riches, its proud heritage and its new ambitions in a colourful and warm aesthetic, distinctive and optimistic, respectful of the Kingdom's history and resolutely contemporary, in the image of its people.
A blend of tradition and modernity, preservation and innovation, confidence and daring, the Bhutan Believe project resonates strongly with our values and offered an opportunity to demonstrate the excellence and variety of our expertise in direct-tone litho printing, foiling, die-cutting, binding and hand-finishing, on recycled papers we specially selected for this world-class project.
Luggage stickers, tabloids, postcards, posters, bespoke envelopes, business cards and card holders: thousands of sublimely printed items ordered on 6 September were delivered on 13 September in exclusively 'zero-plastic' packaging to the famous "Southern Land of Four Approaches" and its representative offices in the four corners of the world: Bangkok, London, Brussels, Delhi, Kuwait, Canberra, Dhaka, Geneva, New York, Calcutta and Guwahati.
To meet this challenge, our craftspeople worked at lightning speed and in degrees of finishing that are close to the highest peaks, reflecting the spirit of adventure at Imprimerie du Marais and the level of trust our customers have in us. From the Art of Possibility to the one of Believing, it's just one step that we're very proud to have taken, against a backdrop of Himalayan constellations where a thousand and one contemporary motifs dance, symbols of folklore combined with the future.
