Hand-finishing
From cutting to conditioning and storage by way of assembly and all types of binding: our hand-finishing workshop never ceases to impress with its patient and meticulous skills.
Sometimes assisted by our teams of typographers, who use their machines to conduct precise grooving and cutting operations, our hand-finishing artisans position, fold, glue, close and assemble your printed creations.
There is something magical about seeing a project assume its final shape through a ballet of precision, under our vigilant eyes, in our skilful hands. Every step is carried out with order and focus, turning into a meditative dynamic that the workshop’s members cultivate.
Sometimes slowed in their work by the demands of a material that creases, by a delicate, fragile lining or by the complexity of an integrated wedging system, little by little their serene perseverance reveals all the refinement of your designs. Our artisans are to your printed creations what seamstresses are to haute-couture studios.
Nothing can disrupt their composure, not even last-minute adjustments. Maybe you’ll want the colour of the thread in the Singer binding of your notebooks to audaciously match or subtly contrast with the characteristic colour of the box that will house them; one detail makes all the difference!
